The enchanting Cap De Creus Peninsula

Less than 30 km from the French border, in the furthest northeastern part of Catalonia, you will find an area of around 200 square kilometers, going by the name of Cap De Creus Peninsula.

It’s really hard to tell which is the best part about it. Is it the extraordinary assemblage of rocky formations blending with the deep blue seaside? The foothills of the Pyrenees? The beating of the northern winds – all-powerful, thrilling and invigorating?

Is it the sudden recollection of Salvador Dali’s liquid clocks and the passing time in “The Persistence of Memory”? Because the painting truly does represent the place near Port Lligat, which the famous artist once chose to call home.

It is probably all of it combined, blending together and producing the ultimate enchantment that one feels upon letting themselves go in the vibe of this peculiar piece of land.
