If you ever are near the Ardeche area and you are looking for an exotic place to sleep? Look no further!

Only a few kilometres away from the magnificent views of the canyon, you can find a little forest with hand made tree houses.

Close to the touristic places but far away from the crowd, you can be completely Zen in this exotic place. It is not a hotel and not a camping but a healthy mix in between. 

Don’t panic that you will have to give up any luxury. Bubble baths, swimming pools, a barbecue area, and jacuzzi, this place has it all.

Or you can take a walk in the area and visit the exotic birds of Sabine, the olive trees or the beehouse. 

It will not be easy, but if you manage to get out of your swimming pool, there’s a lot to visit in the area.

A little introduction of the owners

We are Sabine and Olivier, and we are two children of the sea. We grew up in sunny countries, and we visited and lived in abroad destinations. When we met, we took up the challenge to revive a forgotten field in the South of France.

Near the canyons of the Ardèche river we found a wonderful forest where we wanted to build a place to welcome nature-friendly tourists. The forest was called Bois Cailloux. It has a field of olive trees and exotic gardens that we gradually planted around the village of cabins. All cottages are perched on stilts, without cutting any trees by clearing open areas in the forest. Bois Cailloux is built with the hands and the help of our family and friends. 

This little paradise is made with the idea of meeting new people. Providing a humble accommodation with lots of space, tranquillity and areas for relaxing and fun. 

The concept of Bois Cailloux brings together the titanic help of two families, the unfailing competition of faithful friends. It was born with a lot of joy and enthusiasm.
